Day 26: Draw a Dinosaur.
My little brothers may be into dinosaurs, but they aren’t really my favorite. Anyway, here is my dinosaur, drawn with an inking marker and colored with Sharpie markers. I can’t remember what it’s actually called, but it is a real kind of dinosaur! I think…
Anyway, see you guys tomorrow for Day 27.
Day 25: Draw a Hybrid Animal.
Okay, so like a few days after I joined Twitter, these odd, furry, feather creatures suddenly became one of the biggest trends. That’s right. Meowls. Part cat, part owl, these adorable fluffy flying creatures took over Twitter, and my heart… Okay, exaggeration. They are pretty cute though. And maybe their popularity is not a surprise, considering the internet’s rather absurd fascination with cats…
This drawing was done in pencil, and is probably not the most adorable thing you will ever see. For more Meowls (none of them mine), click here.
See everyone tomorrow for Day 26!
Day 24: Draw your favorite season.
Can you guess what my favorite season is??? Yeah, its fall. I love the early days of fall, when its crisp, but not too cold, and all the trees are bursting with color. Summer’s too hot, winter’s too bleak, spring’s too wet. But fall is just right (from my perspective, anyway.) I even wrote a poem about it. Anyway, today’s drawing was done with an inking marker, inking pens, and colored with Prismacolor pencil crayons.
*Nota Bene* that shapeless thing on the tree limb is a cat. You can’t really see his eyes… 😦
See you all tomorrow for Day 25!
Day 23: Draw a drink.
This young lady is enjoying a glass of… orange juice? Soda? Who knows. Anyway, she’s sipping it through a curly straw, something I always wanted when I was younger. The drawing was done with an inking marker and Sharpie markers.
See you guys tomorrow for Day 24! 😀
Day 22: Draw something breaking.
This is just kind of a vague challenge, so I have drawn everybody’s favorite Super Mario breaking one of his famous blocks. This drawing was done with an inking pens and an inking marker, and colored with Sharpie markers.
See everybody tomorrow for Day 23!
Day 21: Draw a fairy.
I was never into fairies or princesses much when I was younger. It was always Bob the Builder or Thomas the Tank Engine for me (Weird right? I know. I can hardly stand those shows now…) Anyway, fairies are still very fun to draw, and this one was drawn using inking pens and colored with Sharpie markers:
See you tomorrow for Day 22!
Day 20: Draw hair.
It’s nice to have something easy to draw that doesn’t take up so much time for a change. I have so much school now. It’s crazy. Anyway, this drawing of hair was done in pencil.
*Special Note* It’s only ten days until October 1st, and I’m super excited! Don’t forget to check out my giveaway on Goodreads and enter for a chance to win a free copy of Behind Her Mask was Death (shameless promotion is shameless). Also, it’s probably as good a time as any to mention that I won first place in Anela Deen’s Micro Fiction Contest! You can expect to see the winning story published on her blog sometime in October. I’ll post a link when it’s available. I’ll also be doing an author/character interview on Intisar Khanani’s blog soon (not exactly sure when that will be yet), and a guest post for Kate Tilton on her website. I may also be on Kate’s Twitter chat (#K8chat) at some point, but only if I can think of a good discussion topic…
Anyway, I’ll see you guys tomorrow for Day 21!
Day 19: Draw a monster.
My mom kind of freaked out when she saw this. I don’t know. I guess I’m good at drawing creepy evil monsters? This is a cat-dragon-fish(?) thing that I invented. It also has a purple tongue, a weird crest thing on its back, and hairy knees. Yeah, I don’t know. This drawing was done with inking pens and colored with Prismacolor pencil crayons. Enjoy!
See you tomorrow for Day 20. 🙂
Day 18: Draw scenery.
I know you’re eager for a new drawing after yesterday’s extraordinarily random doodle, so I’ve drawn a nice lake and mountains and a little cottage. This drawing was done with an brush-tip inking pen (for the thick lines), a regular inking pen (for the cottage and the background trees) and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.
See you guys tomorrow for Day 19. 🙂
Day 17: Doodle
WARNING: What you are about to see is probably the most random, nonsensical drawing ever.
This is a very, very random doodle, complete with weird fake Pokemon creature things in the corners and squiggly lines. I’ve always wanted to draw Captain America and Iron Man fighting over Cap’s shield, so, as I can doodle whatever I want, this is the focus of the drawing. I’m not even sure you can call this thing art, or a drawing, but here it is anyway. It was draw with pencil while listening to music and not really paying attention.
Well, there you go.
See you tomorrow for Day 18 (and hopefully a drawing that is a bit less random!)
