Day 20: Draw hair.
It’s nice to have something easy to draw that doesn’t take up so much time for a change. I have so much school now. It’s crazy. Anyway, this drawing of hair was done in pencil.
*Special Note* It’s only ten days until October 1st, and I’m super excited! Don’t forget to check out my giveaway on Goodreads and enter for a chance to win a free copy of Behind Her Mask was Death (shameless promotion is shameless). Also, it’s probably as good a time as any to mention that I won first place in Anela Deen’s Micro Fiction Contest! You can expect to see the winning story published on her blog sometime in October. I’ll post a link when it’s available. I’ll also be doing an author/character interview on Intisar Khanani’s blog soon (not exactly sure when that will be yet), and a guest post for Kate Tilton on her website. I may also be on Kate’s Twitter chat (#K8chat) at some point, but only if I can think of a good discussion topic…
Anyway, I’ll see you guys tomorrow for Day 21!
Day 19: Draw a monster.
My mom kind of freaked out when she saw this. I don’t know. I guess I’m good at drawing creepy evil monsters? This is a cat-dragon-fish(?) thing that I invented. It also has a purple tongue, a weird crest thing on its back, and hairy knees. Yeah, I don’t know. This drawing was done with inking pens and colored with Prismacolor pencil crayons. Enjoy!
See you tomorrow for Day 20. 🙂
Day 18: Draw scenery.
I know you’re eager for a new drawing after yesterday’s extraordinarily random doodle, so I’ve drawn a nice lake and mountains and a little cottage. This drawing was done with an brush-tip inking pen (for the thick lines), a regular inking pen (for the cottage and the background trees) and colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.
See you guys tomorrow for Day 19. 🙂
Day 17: Doodle
WARNING: What you are about to see is probably the most random, nonsensical drawing ever.
This is a very, very random doodle, complete with weird fake Pokemon creature things in the corners and squiggly lines. I’ve always wanted to draw Captain America and Iron Man fighting over Cap’s shield, so, as I can doodle whatever I want, this is the focus of the drawing. I’m not even sure you can call this thing art, or a drawing, but here it is anyway. It was draw with pencil while listening to music and not really paying attention.
Well, there you go.
See you tomorrow for Day 18 (and hopefully a drawing that is a bit less random!)
Day 16: Draw a Disney princess.
Okay, so the live-action Cinderella movie came out last year (last year already? What???). My mom and I went to see it in the theater, and we both still think its one of the best movies we’ve ever seen. Certainly the best Disney movie, anyway. This drawing of Cinderella was done with inking pens and Sharpie markers.
See you all tomorrow for Day 17. 🙂
Day 15: Draw a book character
Quite recently, I read A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, so for today I have drawn the three Baudelaire children, Violet, Klaus and Sunny. This drawing was done with inking pens and Prismacolor pencil crayons.
*Special Note* Today is the halfway point! In fifteen days, it will be October 1st. You still have a chance to enter my Goodreads Giveaway for a change to win a signed copy of Behind Her Mask was Death. See you all tomorrow for Day 16!
Day 14: Draw (illustrate?) an inspirational quote.
I couldn’t really think of an ‘inspirational quote’, but this bible verse came to mind! The drawing was done with inking pens, a brush-tip inking marker, and colored with Sharpie markers.
See everyone tomorrow for Day 15! 🙂
Day 13: Draw a cartoon character.
My brothers have been watching the old Pink Panther Show nonstop ever since the discovered it was on Amazon. We used to watch it a lot back when it was on Netflix (Ahh! I feel old! That was like years and years ago…), but then it was taken off Netflix and we kind of forgot about it. Now, they watch it so much that’s its become really annoying to me, but I couldn’t think of any other cartoon characters to draw, so I have drawn the Pink Panther for you. He is outlined with inking pens and colored with Sharpie markers:
See everybody tomorrow for Day 14.
Day 12: Draw a superhero.
So, today I have drawn a superhero of my own creation. This is the patriotic Lieutenant Canada. He fearlessly protects the Canadian people from aliens, monsters and super villains, using his hand-to-hand combat skills and his trusty unbreakable hockey stick. This drawing was done with inking pens and Prismacolor pencil crayons:
See you guys tomorrow for Day 13. 😀
Day 10: Draw eyes.
This pair of very large eyes was drawn in pencil.
I’ll see you all tomorrow for Day 11.
